1. Scope and controller

This notice covers this website, joinburly.com, and emails you send us. The Burly app for iPhone has its own App Privacy Policy; in the app, your training data stays on your iPhone.

The controller is Aleksander Grosz, c/o Autorenglück #50283, Albert-Einstein-Str. 47, 02977 Hoyerswerda, Germany. Contact: hello@joinburly.com. See also the Legal Notice.

2. Visiting the website

When you open a page, the hosting service processes the technical data needed to deliver and protect it: your IP address, the page you asked for, the time, your browser and device, the page you came from and whether the request worked. We use this only to deliver the website reliably and to defend it against misuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in these purposes under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. We keep no access logs of our own.

The website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA, as our processor. Cloudflare may process data outside the EEA, including in the United States. Its Data Processing Addendum covers its obligations and the safeguards for such transfers, namely the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. Its subprocessor list names the providers it uses.

3. No cookies, no tracking

This website sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser and contains no analytics, advertising, tracking pixels or embedded social-media content. Fonts and images are delivered from our own website, not loaded from other services.

4. Emails to us

If you write to hello@joinburly.com, support@joinburly.com or privacy@joinburly.com, Cloudflare (as above) forwards your message to our mailbox at Apple’s iCloud Mail (Apple Distribution International Ltd., Ireland). We use your email address, your name if you give it and the content of your message only to answer you. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where your message concerns the app or our service, and otherwise our legitimate interest in answering under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

We keep messages as long as we need them to deal with your request and delete them afterwards, unless a law requires us to keep them longer.

5. Links to other services

This website links to Discord, TikTok and Apple’s App Store. Nothing from these services is loaded until you click a link; then the respective provider’s own privacy information applies.

6. Your rights

Subject to the legal conditions, you can request access to your data, correction, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You can object at any time to processing based on our legitimate interests for reasons arising from your situation.

To use these rights, contact privacy@joinburly.com. You can also complain to a data protection supervisory authority, for example where you live or work. The European Data Protection Board’s directory lists these authorities.

We make no automated decisions about you and do not create profiles.

7. Changes

We update this notice when the website starts to process data in a new way. Last updated: 1 November 2026.
